Meet your guide for this retreat
Welcome, beautiful soul. I’m Donna Morano, and I am honored to be your guide on this sacred journey of creative awakening. As a Paint from Your Soul facilitator, I am here to hold a safe and nurturing space for your inner truth to emerge. During this retreat, I will gently guide you through a soulful process of reconnecting with your inner wisdom—an intuitive process that transcends words and moves through color, image, and sacred expression. Together, we will call in an archetypal energy—one that reflects a deep aspect of your being—and allow it to reveal itself on the canvas as a mirror of your soul. This is not about painting something “perfect,” but rather allowing something ancient, wise, and uniquely yours to rise to the surface. Through this process, you’ll meet yourself more fully, more tenderly, and more truthfully—awakening the power, beauty, and guidance that have always lived within you.

Basic set of acrylic paints plus raw sienna
1 large sized brush, 1 medium and 1 small
Matte medium
Piece of chalk
Paper towel
Paper and Pencil to sketch with
Washcloth that can get paint on it
Jar for water

I was so excited to start the intuitive painting with the feminine archetypes sessions with Donna. I was a bit nervous with a project this big. Donna’s generous guidance and engaging material took me step-by-step from empty canvas to a painting I am so a part of and so proud of, that it is hanging in my office as a reminder of who I am when I am willing to try.

This is a virtual gathering on a zoom call
Paint From Your Soul™ takes women on a transformational art journey combining archetypal wisdom and the spiritual side of art-making. It teaches you to trust the image and follow "what wants to happen" helping you develop your intuition and self confidence. Even though Paint From Your Soul™ was designed by an art therapist, it's not therapy. The focus is on using art as a self reflective tool that takes you on a journey.

This event is for any woman who feels creatively stuck or wants to create art that is deeply meaningful and comes from the soul. No experience is necessary - just a willingness to pick up a brush.
No, we are not in favor of critiquing artwork in general. we don't find it therapeutic or supportive of the art maker.
We will have share and process time as a group to receive support, inspiration and witnessing as you go through the process.
Yes, I will be teaching you simple drawing and painting techniques that will help you create an image you feel proud of while also learning to listen to the wisdom of the image and trust what wants to happen.
